Is your inbox flooded with private dining requests that you just can’t keep up with?
Or are you losing private dining group or event revenue due to limited staff?
Or is it time to consolidate responsibilities and streamline restaurant operations?

Q Update
We Dined Out! Fia Restaurant
While we’re not rushing to dine at restaurants every night of the week, our experience at Fia was a positive and comfortable one. We will continue to support the restaurant industry as much as we can through this weird time. Please remember to be respectful when dining out, follow restaurant guidelines and tip your servers well! Oh - and wear your mask!
Keeping Busy During Q
Dreaming of Dining Out - Le Farfalle Osteria
Last month, I dined at Michael and Caitlin Toscano’s Le Farfalle Osteria in Charleston, South Carolina. I had previously experienced Le Farfalle at all times of the day (brunch, lunch, happy hour and late night pickies), except for dinner.
Postpone, Don't Cancel, to Support the Events Industry
We cannot stress enough the importance of and focus on postponements and rescheduling for 2020. Deposits paid to date are not only keeping planning companies, venues and vendors in business, but they are an acknowledgement of all the hard work that has gone into planning your event thus far. Work with your planner or venue to simply shift the retainer payment to a later date within the same year. Postponements to 2021 may help some, but could also leave a venue or planner’s business unable to support your event next year. Ask your event venue how they can make this work for you.
Nashville, Tennessee
Thank you, Rachel, for contributing the below recap of your recent trip to Nashville, Tennessee - also known as Music City!
Stop the Spread of Fear & Educate!
Unfortunately, so much of the COVID-19 news we’ve been exposed to is scaring us instead of educating us. Read on to learn more about this disease and how to prevent it. Viruses are contagious, but so is fear, panic, hysteria, calm, love, enthusiasm, kindness and joy. Continue your education on how to stay safe and take a deep breath. This too shall pass!
Jean-Georges Philadelphia
Located atop Comcast’s Center Campus, Jean-Georges at the Four Seasons Hotel Philadelphia provides patrons with a truly one-of-a-kind hospitality experience. From the start of the whooshing elevator climb from street-level to Sky High (pun intended!), we knew we were in for a treat! The fully-glass elevator gave our group an expansive view of the city that only got broader as we traveled to the 60th-floor lounge and restaurant.

Rachel's DINEvent Journey
One day I struck up a conversation and asked her what she did. When she explained her company, DINEvent, I lit up! This was EXACTLY the type of company I’d been wanting to work for. I told her my education and internship experience and background, pertaining to the event industry and casually asked if she was hiring.

Christmas in the City
Park City, Utah
Park City Mountain is the largest ski and snowboard resort in the United States with over 7,300 acres, 348 trails, 41 lifts and 8 terrain parks. Growing up on the East Coast, I learned to ski with slick, icy conditions on over-groomed trails. With 14” of fresh pow-pow, Park City was the absolute best mountain for me to conquer on my first ski trip out West!
