DINing Out at Church and Union Denver

Last Thursday, I had the pleasure of dining out with four of my closest friends at Church and Union Denver, a stylish and contemporary restaurant nestled in the heart of the LoDo (Lower Downtown), which just opened two months ago.

It was an evening filled with great food, laughter, and fun! As an added bonus, I had the opportunity to tour the restaurant’s event spaces ahead of our meal, courtesy of DINEvent’s partnership with 5th Street Restaurant Group. From the ambiance to the bites, it was a night to remember. Here’s how it all went down…

The Venue

Church and Union Denver is located in a beautifully restored space with a rich history. From the sleek décor to the warm lighting, it’s the perfect place for a night out, a special celebration, or a corporate event!

They offer a variety of semi-private and private dining options, each space more impressive than the last. Whether you’re planning an intimate VIP dinner, a company holiday party, or a grand celebration, their versatile spaces can accommodate it all. I was so impressed with all of their festive holiday decor too!

Drinks & Appetizers

After getting to tour the spaces prior to dinner, I had a few minutes to spare before my friends arrived so I sat at the bar and enjoyed the GHOST — a tequila, orange liqueur, cucumber water, lime, cayenne pepper specialty cocktail. Yum!

Once everyone arrived, we were seated and kicked off the evening with a round of champagne that perfectly set the tone for our girls’ night.

We then dove into a selection of appetizers that were all wonderful. The F***** O**** Agnolotti (bonus points to anyone who can figure out what that stands for!), Beef Tartare, NOLA Shrimp, and Hatch Chili Parker House Rolls are all not to be missed!

Entrees

After we had our fill of drinks and appetizers, it was time to dive into the entrees. Each dish was expertly crafted and presented beautifully. I went with Chef Jamie’s Lamb Burger, while the other girls at the table ordered a variety of entrees, including the Handmade Braided Ravioli with added Italian sausage, Maryland Crab Cake, Colorado Ruby Red Trout, and Beer Tartare (again!) with French Fries.

Unfortunately, we were all too full for dessert, but next time I’d really like to try the Dark Chocolate Fudge Brownie.

CONCLUSION

Church and Union Denver is the perfect spot for corporate events and nights out with friends. From the stunning event spaces, to the delicious food and drink options, it’s a place that truly has it all. If you’re looking for a memorable dining experience in Denver, this is a must-visit.

Special thank you to Church and Union for the warm welcome and for offering a sneak peek into their beautiful group dining offerings. I can’t wait to see how their venue continues to host amazing events, and I look forward to personally dining there again soon.
